Danny Hajjar Danny Hajjar is a music journalist based in Washington DC focusing on the emerging Arabic music scene and artists from the Middle East, North Africa, and diaspora communities. He has written about Arabic music and Arab artists for Rolling Stone, Pitchfork, The New York Times, GQ Middle East, and Billboard Arabia, among other publications. He is also co-host of the Shik Shak Shook Ones podcast on the Afikra network, a show dedicated to music journalism and topical discussions about the emerging Arabic music scene.
