The Association for the Study of the Middle East and Africa (ASMEA) has given the award for best conference paper in the Middle East category for 2021 to Amal Cavender, Middle East & North Africa Area Studies Specialist at Gelman Library here at GWU. Her paper, Minorities in Turkey: The Unwanted Citizens, will be published in a forthcoming issue of the Middle East Studies Journal.
