Congratulations to the Foreign Language and Area Studies (FLAS) summer program fellowship recipients, funded by the U.S. Department of Education. Our GW students will be traveling to Egypt, Jordan, Israel and Armenia to attend prestigious schools like the Qasid Institute, the American University in Cairo and Haifa University. A few others will be attending domestic programs at the University of Maryland and the University of Wisconsin. Best wishes to our awardees as they prepare for their Arabic, Persian and Hebrew intensive language and culture programs this summer!
