The Institute for Middle East Studies is searching for a student to assist with formatting and posting content to a website using WordPress to support the Middle East Research and Information Project. A basic understanding of HTML or CSS would be helpful, though not required. The candidate should also have familiarity with basic image editing including the ability to add backgrounds, merge images, crop images, resize images, and monitor image resolution. The most important qualities are the ability to pay meticulous attention to detail and follow style guidelines. Knowledge of the Middle East is helpful as well. Position will be approximately 5 hours/week and comes with a $400/monthly stipend for a duration of one semester (Jan 1 – April 30).
