IMES Seeking to Hire a FWS Student Employee for the 2023-2024 Academic Year

IMES is seeking a FWS Events Assistant to support IMES events series and the Middle East Policy Forum for the 2023-2024 Academic Year.

The Institute for Middle East Studies (IMES) Events Assistant will work with the IMES Program Manager and the Kuwait Professor of Gulf and Arabian Peninsula Affairs to plan and carry out programming for IMES and the Middle East Policy Forum (MEPF). This will include designing and distributing publicity materials, coordinating catering, travel and lodging for guests, providing day-of staffing for events, collecting data on events and maintaining event-related records, managing event Q&A sessions, setting up/cleaning up for events, and posting event-related content to the iMES website and social media accounts. Most work will be done during business hours, but occasional event staffing outside of business hours may be requested. Applications will be accepted & reviewed on a rolling basis.
